OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Morrisville State College women’s basketball team staged a second half comeback, but fell short as SUNY Oswego recorded the 65-54 non-conference victory Friday night in Oswego.
Bette Davis (Bronx, NY) led Morrisville State with 19 points adding three assists to her tallies. Thelma Picardo (Queens, NY) added 15, hitting 3-for-4 from beyond the arc, while grabbing seven rebounds.

OSWEGO, N.Y. – Medgar Evers College men’s basketball forced 29 Mustang turnovers and had four net double digits as they handed Morrisville State College the 62-48 loss Friday night in the first round of the SUNY Oswego Tip-Off Tournament in Oswego.

Three earn NJAC Football All-Conference honors

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. –Three Morrisville State College football student-athletes earned New Jersey Athletic Conference post-season honors, as announced by the conference office Friday morning.
Senior EJ Maeweather (Syracuse, NY/Cass Tech) earned second team defense honors at linebacker. Maeweather finished the season with 69 total tackles, 35 solo, including 12 for a loss of 31-yards, while forcing three fumbles.

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Morrisville State College men’s basketball opened the 2009-10 season with an 87-83 overtime loss to visiting SUNY Canton, Wednesday night in Morrisville.
